Hi Everyone!

I hope you and your family are staying safe and healthy as our world works to overcome the current pandemic. I wanted to send you all an update with what we have been up to, and what is coming for Project Periwinkle.  The impact and difference we are making in the world, together, is being seen and felt by so many every day.  Thank you for the continued support you show us, the encouragement, and the belief in what we are doing.  YOU are why we are still able to change the world today, almost five years after we started!  Because you believe in us and what we are doing, we all continue to work together to shape a brighter future, and that commitment has not gone unnoticed.  Please take a moment to read about some of the things we have done this year in the first few months, and what we looking forward to.

Financial

We had our strongest first quarter in our history, raising over $5,000 in the first three months of 2020!  While every year and every quarter are different, We hope we can continue to see this success through the rest of year. But it is not just about the money, it is about what it enables us to do that matters most.  Aside from this tremendous achievement, we also earned our Gold Seal of Transparency with GuideStar.  GuideStar gathers, organizes, and distributes information about U.S nonprofits.  By adding information about our goals, strategies, capabilities, and vision to our GuideStar profile, we are highlighting the difference we help to make in the world.

Special Announcement

We have a special announcement on May 6! Not only are we celebrating 5 years since our launch in 2015, we are also excited to share big news about our work and the mission we are striving to fulfill every day. Be sure to visit our website and check out our social media pages that morning for the big announcement!

 New Merchandise

We have two new Project Periwinkle branded items available for pre-order though April 19: embroidered hats and beach towels. These are expected to ship the second week of May, just in time for summer!  These two items join a collection that not only looks great, but also raises awareness and starts conversations, all while being a great way to support us. Both are available for pre-order on our website’s store. Hurry before it ends!
