It is an absolute privilege to be able to serve on the board for Project Periwinkle. I initially became involved through working with Ben. I was so inspired by his story to bring about change in memory of his cousin, Michon, and the passion with which he drives this organization. I had to do more, so when Ben approached me to continue this journey with him, there was no hesitation. I said, “Yes! Sign me up!”

I’m not alone in having been affected by the unrelenting beast we know as cancer. I have lost my mom, cousins, and dear friends to this atrocious disease. Witnessing the devastation it causes to the affected individual, their family, and friends is heartbreaking. Being on this board and seeing firsthand what researchers have been doing because of giving individuals such as yourself, is proof we are all making a difference. All our loved ones who have gone before us are not lost in vain. So, thank you from my heart to yours on your gifts for change. We will break this beast!
