My name is Danielle Murphy and I have been an Oncology nurse for approximately 5 years. I have worked in a variety of fields from Medical Oncology, Bone Marrow Transplant, to Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. I have seen first hand the effects cancer research has on direct patient outcomes, which is one of the many reasons supporting cancer research and Project Periwinkle is so important to me. Outside of work I am an avid runner, swimmer, and cyclist. I am doing my first Half Ironman next summer in Michigan. I have run 4 marathons, including the Boston Marathon, and too many 5ks and half marathons to count. I have two goldendoodles, Walter & Poppy, whom of which are more spoiled than most small children. ;) I am excited to be a part of such a great organization!
