Board Member

My name is Christine Southall and I am twenty-six years old. I was born in Paraguay, raised outside Chicago, and I currently live in Alaska. I earned my bachelors in communication leadership from Saint Louis University and graduated in 2016. I currently live in Juneau Alaska in the winter where I am a chef. In the summers I live in Pelican Alaska where I run a commercial Ice House and buy station for Salmon. I am the only female in Alaska to run a commercial Ice House where we create ice for fisherman so their catch is as fresh as possible. My team and I are passionate about continuing the long tradition of the fishing industry and relationship to nature here in Alaska. The connection to salmon allows me to market and sell the best quality fish all over the United States. I love where I live and am passionate about getting outdoors and testing my limits. I am proud to be part of Project Periwinkle and our mission of helping those affected by stomach cancer. I hope our work makes a difference and allows those an opportunity to live his or her passion.
